My Project

The use of clip boards and lap desks will help an average of 155 students per year in our title/LAP program, which serves students who in kindergarten through 5th grade who need the most support in learning how to read. We have 7-9 groups going in 1 room at all times during the day, which is difficult to fit when students have to use tables or desks. If we are able to purchase these alternative writing surface materials we would be able to remove tables and desks so students not only have more space, but we would be able to serve more students. Students would sit in chairs for the lessons and have a choice to place books and writing materials on a lap desk, clip board, or sit on the floor and use their chairs.
