My Students

I love to provide my students with a true sense of home as soon as they enter my classroom. We become a real family and build on our relationships from September to June. Anyone that enters my room feels love and compassion from day one! I find joy in helping my students love learning and school! My students are creative and thoughtful and love learning through play. This is their first school experience for many of them and I would love to offer them more fun and engaging centers.

My Project

Help my students have fun in the class! We need more centers to learn through play and have more student engagement. These past couple of years have been difficult for the students. Please donate to a good cause to help students fall in love with learning. Now my students can furnish their block play creations—with the colorful hardwood block set! The complete set includes furniture and appliances with lots of realistic details—including a front door that swings open and 4 windows with openings! I plan to allow my students to use these daily during free play to enhance their imagination. I truly feel like they would enjoy many of these items. I will be using these daily in centers and also during free play. I feel that these will allow the students to engage more in both literacy, math, and free play. Many of the students are behind socially and academically. By purchasing these items it will not only help them learn academics but also help with their social/emotional needs as well!
