This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All my bilingual students live within walking distance to our school. They come from a variety of backgrounds and home environments, but they share one thing in common. They love to come to school to learn each day.
My students are ages 4 and 5 years old.
In addition, due to their families limited finances, all our preschool students qualify for free meals and healthy kids market. A majority of our student do not have the possibility to purchase and interact with fun literacy or numeracy games in their own homes. By having these games available in our classroom our young learners will be able to play while learning basic academic skills be ready for future schooling endeavors.
