Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The specific requested items motivate students to continue to stay invested in reading. As students complete books, volunteer as library helpers and invest into creative tasks in the library space, they will be able to choose prizes as rewards.

Reading is exciting and our students deserve to feel the joy of reading with tangible items!

Many of the selected items are related to things they are interested in with various texts. Additionally, some items are used for social emotional learning within the library space. Consider supporting this movement to allow our students to continue to grow in their love of literacy.
