This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students all come from low-income homes. They are sweet, energetic and determined to learn. They love movement and technology-based activities. My students are the struggling learners that need extra help with their reading and writing skills. We are working towards getting them caught up to their peers.

Every student is worth helping.

Each and every one of my students is special and unique. They are working towards being the best that they can be. Giving them tools to make their journey towards success a little easier is my goal.

My Project

This listening station will be a great addition to our classroom. Any extra exposure to reading is great for early readers, they will be able to listen to a story of their choosing on CD while following along in the book. My students do not always have the opportunities to read at home so any extra exposure that I can give them is a tremendous help. Students will love sitting on the wiggle seats while listening to a story. The magnetic letters will also be a fun addition to our sight word stations. The paper and dry erase markers are supplies that we use lots of throughout the year.
