My Students

My students are a great group of energetic twelve and thirteen-year-olds. Our teaching team has a hundred students who work together to increase their learning.

My students are curious, kind, encouraging, thoughtful, powerful and motivated.

They strive to build a growth mindset and believe in the power of yet. My students are creative and offer me new challenges every day.

Our school is in a rural area and has students from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Some of my students have many connections to the community as they have grown up in it while others are new.

My Project

I am asking for a set of sturdy headphones to help my students access digital content.

As we integrate more technology into our classrooms and work to personalize learning, students need to hear digital content through videos and online applications.

My students require headphones almost daily, and many of them do not bring headphones or earbuds with them. It makes it challenging to access the material without the proper equipment.

By adding this set of headphones to my classroom, I can provide all students with access to the content. These headphones will also provide me with a cushion in case students forget their headphones/earbuds or they break.
