When I look at my 7th grade students, I see not only the sports star and singers that my students insist they will be, but also the engineers, lawyers, doctors or any thing else they strive to be.
To accomplish this, I need my students to see and believe that they can achieve any goal that becomes their own.
Holding students attention for a subject that most believe is beyond them requires an approach that brings real-world experiences into their everyday lives.
My Project
As schools move to keep pace with the ever changing and growing field of technology, many of the the subjects presented offer programs that emphasis computer use. While the hardware and software are covered as part of the curriculum, peripherals are not. Some students are able to provide their own headphones and are able to concentrate on their individual lessons. Others are not as fortunate and strain to capture the essence of their lessons mingled with that of their peers.
To assist students in their academic endeavors, I would like your help to ensure that each student has the tools they need to make the most of the adaptive software programs available to them in the classroom.
Mathematics is already a mysterious and immense challenge for most of my students, I would like to provide them with tools that will enhance the benefits of the adaptive software to help them on their path to understanding and success.
