Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Since our building has become 1-1, where every student has a personal-provided computer, we now can advance our project and presentation options to incorporate technology.

The fact that students learn in a variety of ways is nothing new, however now more than ever technology is available at our students fingertips.

New headphones will benefit my students in several ways: test questions can be read aloud to assist students based on their needs, allow students to move through modules at their own pace, add and preview videos they can add to their own presentations, and assist my ENL learners who can have a page read aloud to them as they follow along.

The headphones with the built in microphones will allow different types of media broadcasts such as raps, songs, read-aloud stories, and presentations. Is has been very difficult to do these activities when everyone in the classroom is recording at once. These headphones with built-in microphones allow my student's voice to be heard clearly and enhance their finished projects
