The extremely interesting topics and humorous illustrations and captions of the book series "You Wouldn't Want to" will captivate young readers while educating them on the very real conditions and aspects of people's lives in the past. Each book provides a simple timeline for students to understand the topic in a historical context and recognize the lasting impact of that time period. This series describes exactly what your life would be like if you found yourself in any of these historical situations. The books are targeted for grades 3-12 as a full-color cartoon-style book that is fun and attractive to reluctant readers.
