I teach at a Title I school in Oklahoma where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I have 12 girls and 7 boys in my classroom this year! My students are typically a diverse group consisting of Native American, African American, Caucasian, and Hispanic children.
I have had some very creative and curious students.
The kids in this school love hands-on projects and anything new they can explore. They love coming to my classroom where they are encouraged to learn and grow as members of a community.
My Project
We recently received 10 iPads for our classroom! The kids have enjoyed using them! The materials from this project will add beneficial items to go along with our new technology. The students need headphones to be able to better hear what they're doing on the tablets. Headphones will also cut down distractions cause by kids playing on the tablets. The command hooks will allow the kids to store the headphones safely on the wall. The dry erase pocket sleeves will be used to store QR codes that the students can interact with. Finally, the Osmo game will provide students with a new and fun interactive technology.
We've been so excited to have iPads in our classroom this year!
This project will help provide some extra resources so we can use the tablets to their fullest potential!
