Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach in a Title I school. Very often resources are very limited. All students at my school receive free lunch. The poverty level is high for families. However, my students come to school each day ready to learn. They know their purpose for coming to school.

The learning environment is safe and each child is treated as an individual and with respect.

My students take learning seriously but yet we make it fun and exciting. Each day is a new day for learning and endless learning possibilities.

My Project

Now that we are in the technology age of learning, students are required to take tests, read books, and submit assignments online. When there are 25 plus students all trying to listen to books or trying to focus and submit assignments and all the computers are actively in use at the same time without the use of earbud, it causes a lot distractions for the classroom environment. These earbuds will be used by students during testing. Students have books to read and these earbuds will certainly be used during that time. When students have assignments that requires some research, the earbuds will come in handy. Please Listen Up! Earbuds are needed for a classroom is that conducive for all students to learn, grow, and thrive.
