When you're in fourth grade, there are few things more enjoyable than being read to.
My fourth graders cover an extremely wide range of reading levels.
I want to be able to give each student the individualized instruction that he or she needs, but with 35 students that can be difficult. One of the best way to tailor instruction to a specific reading level is give the students engaging, leveled texts.
My Project
This collection of 6 books on CD's is fabulous! The books span a wide variety of levels, from "The Giant Jam Sandwich" and the "Arthur" series to "Frindle" and "The Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler," there is a text to suit each of my students. Through the use of the audio version, students can form small groups with me and at our listening centers.
Please help encourage my young readers!
They work so diligently to improve their reading skills, and this collection of books on CD will support readers at every level. Thank you so much in advance for your generosity!
