My Project

The Reading Cafe in my classroom will be opening soon and my students will benefit from having access to a variety of audiobooks, in addition to physical books. Struggling readers often lack confidence, so time to practice reading and listening to books will benefit them immensely.

Listening to audiobooks gives students the opportunity to not only improve their comprehension, but also hear correct fluency and expression; in addition, my older students have the ability to listen to grade-appropriate books that they might not be able to read on their own, yet.

Donating to this project will give reluctant readers options choose from: topic, genre, format; and will help my students get excited about and motivated to read.
