This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a second-year kindergarten teacher, I'm learning how to keep my class up to date on classroom set up such as technology that benefits student learning.

Kindergarteners love to learn and they're so interested in school, so they deserve to grow with support that they need to be successful.

Providing these tools will help them achieve.

In order to keep kindergarteners invested in learning, we need to provide them with tools that will help them focus, stay on task, and still be able to produce their amazing, creative ideas.

My Project

A listening center will provide my scholars with the ability to listen and follow along while reading a book. Our goal is to get students to write about their reading. Using a listening center would be the tool that will help students listen to the words, and develop in their expressive language.

Listening centers are very important because they help young readers develop language skills.

The importance of having a listening center will provide early and emergent readers with eagerness and readiness to begin reading! It will also expand on their vocabulary, and allow them to develop opinions about the book they are reading. Please consider donating to us!
