This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are exceptionally hard workers. Many of them come from backgrounds in which they have to work part-time jobs, take care of their families, as well as manage their academics and extra-curricular activities.

My students continue to change my life daily.

Many people often think a classroom is centered around a teacher teaching students, but the truth is, I learn more about hard work, dedication and persistence everyday I am around them. Please continue to support my amazing and dedicated musicians in whatever we may need!

My Project

I am requesting these digital recorders so that we can have technology to record our performances. This will include individual playing tests, rehearsals as we gear up for performances, and actual performances themselves!

The quality recordings will help us assess ourselves so that we can continue to grow as a musical ensemble!

Though a lot of what we do in class is based on live feedback, it is important for my students to be able to listen to themselves and assess their musical issues so that we can continue to remedy our problems to become the best ensemble possible! Recordings help musicians diagnose problems they may have not heard live, or may not have been listening for! Help my students grow into even better musicians by providing this resource for us!
