My Project

Listening centers will help to build fluent reading. It will also help students decode unfamiliar words. Listening centers teach critical listening skills, introduce new vocabulary, and provide a read-aloud model. When teaching, there is always an introduction to new materials and the listening centers will help as an added reference to the introduction of new genres that students might not otherwise consider. It can also help to introduce students to books above their reading level. This listening center will allow my early reading to improve their reading skills and also have fun while doing it. It is a new way to listen to words.
