My Students

My students are highly motivated, creative individuals that take on any assignments that I engage them in.

l deal with different learning styles and often find myself supplementing my curriculum with a lot of hands-on opportunities.

For example, we dissected a consumer credit application so that they understand the terms and conditions of the contract.

When working with Installment loans we are actually (on paper) purchasing automobiles. Again we are dissecting the contract to make sure each portion of the contract is understood by my students.

I have the students do a lot of group work and collaboration to educate them on the importance of teamwork and cooperation. This keeps them engaged and happy to learn!

They truly are an incredible group of young adults that will go far in life!

My Project

I want to provide my students with the opportunity to become independent learners and provide them with opportunities to grow independently in the classroom. The supplies requested (headphones) will go along way in making this a reality.

With the addition of the headphones, my students will be able to work independently or with groups enabling them to grow in the soft skills needed by business and industry.

My interactive curriculum will now be able to be implemented in my Business Law class.

With these supplies, they will become self-paced learners taking on the challenges of the classroom with real-world examples of live stream videos, gamification, and hands-on assignments.
