My Students

We only have one computer that works well in our classroom. Therefore, my students get very limited access to technology resources.

Our school has a low population of free and reduced lunch students.

This means that we are not provided with resources and funding that many Title I schools receive. My students work very hard and I would love to let them use iPods to access educational apps and websites!

My Project

We would LOVE to have 2 iPod touches and accessories for our classroom. The kids work so hard and deserve these technology resources! They would be able to use them in stations and for independent work and practice. We already have a few iPods and they use them frequently, but are often waiting for a turn. They can use the iPods for math practice games, digital flash cards, and even videos for introduction on new material. They will also use the iPods to help with reading fluency practice by using the voice memo function.

Having these additional iPods would mean the world to all of us!

My kids show me each day that they are willing to work hard and want to make me happy! They are so eager to learn and I want to show them that others want to support them in their learning as well!
