My Project

I am requesting a variety of organizational tools to help turn a classroom into an art studio for our 450+ students. This will be the first time these students will have an art studio to create in. Each piece will have a specific purpose from organizing crayons/markers/colored pencils by color to having sets ready for quick use.

Other items include a rug to have directions or stories together before creating and an assortment of items for younger students to experiment with as they learn about art and a new space to create.

My goal for this project is to create an inviting environment for students. To me, this includes keeping things well organized for all of the students and quickly getting items out to start.

My students are special because they are smart, funny and engaged in art classes. They always make my day brighter with their imagination and use of materials. Every student teaches me something new and gives me a new reason why I do what I do!
