My Project

Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader- Margaret Fuller.

I am requesting reading materials for students in my classroom.

These whisper phones will help my students on many different levels. They will help students who speak too quietly as they will need to hear what they are saying too. These phones will assist students who have a difficult time with speaking more clearly. Students who are still need help with phonemic awareness can improve their reading and reading fluency. Voice volume control is another goal.

I'm am requesting flashlights and batteries, enhancing hands-on exploration and learning experiences. Our classroom doesn't have any windows so as an adaptation to our environment the lamp will be so helpful.

Flashlights offer versatile tools for sensory discovery, storytelling, and scientific exploration. We will also adapt to our environment by using the flashlights for an entirely different reading experience, with the absence of light, as our classroom again has no windows.

They stimulate curiosity, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills in young minds. With flashlights, children engage in shadow play, investigate light and shadow phenomena, and develop early STEM concepts. Furthermore, flashlights enrich dramatic play, fostering creativity and language development. By integrating flashlights into our curriculum, we cultivate a dynamic learning environment that sparks imagination and ignites a passion for discovery.

We also will be able to use the bench for reading time, and the storage it provides to help further organize our classroom.
