I will be able to increase students' understanding through implementation of technology to encourage meaningful learning in social studies, language arts , science, and math.
My students attend an inner city, public school in New England.
Within my classroom, I have 22, energetic, third graders. They are motivated by technology and learning new things. It is important to capture all of their attention. Currently, we live in a society where we are surrounded by technology. As a teacher, my goal is to prepare the students for the world they live in, which is why I am requesting this document camera.
My Project
My students need an Epson DC11 Document Camera to enrich and motivate whole classroom instruction. My students have had the opportunity to see how the document camera works in a classroom, by visiting another classroom in our school. They were excited to see everything a document camera can do. The camera will be used for all subject areas in my class. It will be a great tool for the classroom, which will be utilized everyday.
With today's technology, it is important to be involved with the 21st century with new ways to instruct children.
The students in my classroom are all learning in different ways. As a teacher, I feel it is my responsibility to reach them in any way I can. The document camera in my classroom will give my students an opportunity to enhance their learning.
