Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am excited to activate learning through hands-on, creative, and relevant projects with my 3rd graders!

We will be learning about differents forms of energy through arts-based education.

The materials will be used to have students understand how energy travels through a circuit, can be open/closed with a switch, and how energy can be transformed and always continues. Students will make choices about how they represent their circuit by using Chibitronics stickers that they can add to with other craft materials, also exploring conductors and insulators during the projects. This will also be part of a bigger unit exploring our role in society to conserve energy and our impact in the world.
