Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach and work with some of the most talented students and staff in our city. Our students not only push to achieve good grades, great attendance, and behavior, but create a space to display their talents. Students will use the camera to take footage of fashion show productions and other events held at or by the school. They will be able to look back as time goes forward on the work they have done to train them on better quality work when shooting. This will make a difference in their learning to highlight what we have done, and what they need to change and build on. Students will be able to take notes on improvements such as better lighting, angle of shots, volumes for speaking etc.

The updated video camera will allow the students the opportunity to capture precious memories for years to come and save data on computers as technology progresses and updates over the years.

This gives supporters of the school more ways to keep up, follow along, or recap activities and events held at the school. Your donation will impact our current students, future models, and theater program for years to come.
