My students are creative, energetic, innovative learners who come to school eager to learn and create! They are full of questions and love hands-on, real world challenges and projects. Our school is in one of the fastest growing districts in Oklahoma and the budget crisis creates challenges in meeting the needs of our students. We are fortunate to have a STEM lab for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.

My Project
A green screen and iPad tripod will add a new element to our already exciting STEM class! The final step in the Engineering Design Process is to communicate results.
With a green screen and iPad tripod, students could take their communication skills to the next level by planning, scripting, and creating an informational video to summarize their learning.
Students will practice collaboration as they work in teams to create their videos. They will integrate literacy skills as they write scripts. Problem solving and time management will be practiced as they execute and produce their ideas. The addition of the lab coat costumes will add some fun!
