My students need this camera to capture their weekly performances onstage and review and critique their work. We will also use this camera to archive all of our main stage performances.

My Students

My performing arts students are some of the most dedicated, passionate, creative, caring and loving humans on the planet. They are hungry for knowledge and love to change the world for the better through their art. Most of my students go on to study some form of performing arts after graduation and it is an honor and a pleasure to teach them and learn from them every day.

My students lead with love...the love of what they do, the process and each other.

My Project

We are seeking a high quality camera, the Panasonic HC-x1000, for our students to learn how to capture performances in a different way. We will use videotaped performances to evaluate and critique in class performances weekly. We will also use this camera to record special memories onstage for archival purposes.

The ability of students to watch and critique their performances allows them to take performance to a new level.

We are excited for the upgrade in our current system and look forward to preserving our performances in this way. The arts are so important and so underfunded, it is beautiful to have this opportunity to help grow what we do with and for kids.
