Help me give my students the necessary tools to develop an understanding of their world through science. I hope to instill a love of science at a young age.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students range in ages from 3-5 years old. Most of my kids come from lower socioeconomic circumstances. They are enthusiastic, as only pre-k students can be! One of their favorite activities is anything that involves being hands-on.
Science seems to bring my children to life!
Measuring, mixing, guessing what we are making, and realizing that they have successfully completed an activity brings great joy to my little scientists. With these new science supplies, my kids can reach their scientific potential.
My Project
Such materials as eyedroppers, test tubes, magnifying glasses, and magnets will help spark my students’ imagination. Including STEM ACTIVITIES will allow my kids to complete specific science experiments geared to learning in a global world.
My children are so inquisitive and jump at any opportunity to learn.
Because our program does not include science materials, we do not often have the opportunity to learn through experimentation. These materials will open up new avenues for my kids. Please look into your hearts and help me to help my kids learn as much as they can at this age. Over and over again, I have seen how important learning through doing can be. Help me to bring science to life for my students.
