My Project

My first grade students are eager learners who love coming to school each day. One of their favorite parts of our day is our Knowledge block. They study the early civilizations, the history of the earth, and one of their favorites - astronomy!

The galaxy light and moon lamp that I have requested will help to set the tone for our astronomy unit.

The moon lamp is based on NASA scans and my students are going to love to see the details of the moon up close!

The color changing flood lights will help to enhance the ambience in our classroom as my students study the planets, moon, sun, and the solar system. These lights will also help to add some colorful cheer to our room on some of the gloomier days we have in NH in the early spring!
