Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come in ready to learn and soak in all the information that is given to them. A day without learning is like a day without electricity. My students are all extraordinary individual little humans. They come from a low income neighborhood and our school is a Title 1 school where 99% of the school receives free or reduced lunch.
My students are like paintbrushes because they are ready to paint their way through learning.
They are always eager to answer questions in class and participate in everything that we do. I am trying to provide a rich environment with unlimited learning.
My Project
These materials will make a difference by lighting up my students lives. They always are asking for magnets and with the magnets, we can teach shapes in a fun interactive way. Also, the students will have fun while learning in brand new ways. They won’t even know they are learning, which is the most amazing part.
Kids are like sponges, they are ready to learn and soak in everything they see and hear.
The light table will bring them countless hours of joy and fun. Another classroom has a light table and my students absolutely loved every moment of playing with it.
