My students need the classroom projector we have put on the ceiling. If the projector is on the ceiling I can more readily show them reading strategies that will help them grow.

My Students

Our 3rd grade class is buzzing with energy and excitement each day. My students come in each day excited to meet the challenges of the day. They love all things nature-butterflies, bugs, plants, and dirt.

Each of my students comes with many great life experiences to share.

Some have been all over the world, others have traveled into the most magical nooks in San Francisco. Many are working on improving their reading skills. They try hard each day to learn an new skill and never give up.

My Project

About 1/3 of my students are working on improving in reading. When I am able to show them strategies in a book projected onto a screen it helps move their understanding. Currently our projector sits on an old desk and isn't readily available because of the connections and location.

If I could light up literacy for them, by projecting books onto the screen, it would really help reading growth for all students.

Having our classroom projector on the ceiling would also help with science, math, writing and social studies. Essentially, it could light up all the learning in the classroom!
