This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students on the autism spectrum often struggle with traditional learning methods, making it essential to provide hands-on, sensory-friendly tools that cater to their unique learning styles.

A Magnetic LED STEM Table offers an interactive way for my students to explore STEM concepts through light, color, and magnetism—helping them stay engaged, focused, and excited about learning.

Why a Magnetic LED STEM Table?

Supports Visual and Tactile Learning – The illuminated surface captures attention and enhances focus, making abstract concepts more concrete.

Encourages Hands-On Exploration – Students learn best through movement and interaction, and this table allows them to experiment with magnets, shapes, and light in a meaningful way.

Reduces Anxiety and Overwhelm – The calming glow of the LED lights creates a soothing environment, helping students feel safe and ready to learn.

Fosters Creativity and Problem-Solving – The combination of light and magnetism sparks curiosity, encouraging students to explore STEM concepts in a fun, engaging way.

Traditional classroom tools don’t always meet the needs of neurodivergent learners. By incorporating multi-sensory, interactive learning tools, we can create an inclusive space where students on the spectrum can reach their full potential.
