Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will truly benefit from having these materials to use with the light table. My students learn through playing with the items, interacting with them and exploring them. The various different items for the light table can help them with their fine motor skills, language and literacy and math skills. The great thing about working with this age of children is embedding all the different academic into the play that they are doing. Having fun materials like rings and pegs for them to learn through using and exploring will also keep their interest and they will engage for longer periods of time. The students will greatly benefit from these materials if they are donated to my classroom.
