My Students
My students are so eager to learn. They love to explore new things and ask questions about new things. I got out some magnets and my students were literally jumping in excitement when they discovered what materials will connect and what materials will not.
I want to give my kids hands-on learning experiences that will spark their curiosity.
Many of my students began the year with no prior early childhood education. Kids this age learn by doing, seeing, and exploring. I can’t wait to see them grow!
My Project
We will learn using hands-on activities! Recently I was asking myself what I can do to make learning more fun in my classroom and I came across an article on different ways to use a light table in the classroom. My own curiosity was peaked.
This light table can be used in all academic areas!
Smooth glass stones can be used to form letters or numbers, figure out math problems, and create shapes. Discoveries can be made in science with leaves, stones, and various fabrics. Textures can be explored using water beads in a container. Colored itemscan be mixed together and more...!
