This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach music for K-6th grades at a public school. We have a brand new music program that desperately needs your help! We are a Title 1 school that serves an inner city student population. We have limited grants and/or general funds to purchase equipment for our program. You can make a difference with your donation by helping our school purchase new and safe risers for our performances. Risers are used for every production or event throughout the year. The risers can also be used for academic award ceremonies, graduation, class pictures, and evening events.

My goal is to provide students with opportunities to be involved in the arts.
