Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school's literary magazine, The Gleam, was continuously published for nearly a century before the pandemic interrupted our production. In 2023, we celebrated the rebirth of our literary arts publication thanks to the generous donors here!

This year, we ask you again to help us put tangible reminders of our students' creativity and potential in their hands by funding the printing of our magazine.

The money you donate will go directly to the printing costs of our literary magazine. We also use any available money to celebrate our creative writers and artists by holding a release party each June with poetry reading and chocolate fountains!
