This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year in fourth grade, we teach life skills/family life curriculum. This is not always the most pleasant thing for the kids to learn about because there are a lot of emotions and hard ideas brought up. Having some tools to help with those life skills lessons could definitely help. Deodorant, soap, and other hygiene tools are always needed and greatly appreciated to work on basic life skills.

Journals are another tool to help with life skills and dealing with social-emotional health.

These journals will be used as a tool when working with our students' life skills all around physically and emotionally.
