My students need basketballs, soccer balls, kick balls. With this equipment they will be able to organize games and will be able to practice their good sportsmanship skills they have learned in PE.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember the joy of playing on the playground during recess? Did you ever rope the pole in a tether ball game or win a four square game? Those are the memories that I want to help create for my students. Playground equipment is a path to creating those precious carefree memories.
The administration and teachers at my school have established a "Be Kind" campus in which our students respect each other and where our students take responsibility for their learning.
My seventh graders are dedicated learners that range in ability, but share one very important common thread, the lack of resources available to them. My school is in a district in which every school is a Title I school. I believe that my students deserve that best resources that are out there.
My Project
This playground equipment will make our playground full of possibilities for my students. With basketballs, soccer balls, and kick balls available for my students to use, they will be able to practice their good sportsmanship skills they have learned in physical education class. This equipment will help them to stay physically fit and use their recess time wisely.
With the choice of playground equipment to use during recess, it is going to change the feel and the sounds of our playground.
The sounds of children cooperating and playing together will return to our campus. That will be a beautiful thing!
