This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My mod/severe life skills students are looking for donors to enhance their meta cognitive learning experience by taking into their funds of knowledge.

All the items on our list are LEGO bricks and support pieces to build vocational skills and independence.

LEGO bricks are a very fun way to learn to identify colors, sort by size and color, count, and make words with the letter kit.

One of the other huge incentives is building vocational skills! All of our students strive to build independence to have a job one day. Using LEGO bricks to build vocational skills is a fantastic and fun way to support them!
