Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am blessed to teach an amazing group of moderate/severe special education high school and newcomer students. Our school is a Title I school serving a diverse population. The students I work with are determined and strive to persevere through social, emotional, and academic challenges. My Community-Based Instruction (CBI) class has worked with peers on the yearbook staff, attended school activities, and volunteered in the community. They excel with movement and hands-on experiences. I am blessed to be their teacher, and I strive to encourage students beyond their greatest expectations.

These Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will provide hands-on experiences that challenge my students, and keep them focused and on task.

Each lesson will allow me to push past the expectations of average, and challenge students to read, write, and understand finances. I am grateful!
