I am a passionate National Board Certified teacher and education specialist working in a Title I high school that serves a diverse student population. My students inspire me every day with their determination and perseverance as they navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges. Students in my Community-Based Instruction (CBI) class have contributed to the yearbook staff, participated in school activities, volunteered in the community, and served in the Associated Student Body (ASB). They thrive through movement, hands-on learning, and meaningful opportunities to connect with others. I feel blessed to be their teacher and strive to encourage each student to discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve beyond what they imagine is possible.
