My students need life essential snacks, water, band aids, and hygiene items to help promote a healthy lifestyle while at school and home.

My Students

My students come from various backgrounds. Many live in rural areas and come from low income families. My students are very eager to learn through the use of hands-on learning experiences. They really love learning when teaching involves experiences that will prepare them for their adult life.

My students are inspired with excitement especially when their learning takes them outside to focus on the environment and when their essential life needs are met in and outside of the classroom.

Their eyes beam with excitement when they get to go outside to learn about environmental science and health instead of just learning through textbooks. They love to come up with kid-inspired ideas to learn about environmental science with hands-on learning. It really excites me when my students want to grow a garden, learn about preparing healthy foods, and offer support and help to the less fortunate students in need of essential items that most take for granted.

My Project

My students need and will use the healthy snacks, water, hygiene items, and band aids during school hours when they haven't had time to eat before coming to school, before lunch when their energy level drops, and when they don't have the health supplies at home.

Healthy life essential snacks and hygiene items are necessary for promoting good health and wellness during and after school.

Many times my students arrive at school needing a band aid to cover a scratch that they might have gotten during the night or on the way to school. Band aids are a fix it for a lot of scratches and even special attention.
