Life Cycles

My students need an egg incubator to hatch chicken and duck eggs. Learning about the process of the life cycle is a vital part our science curriculum!

My Students

The students in our class like to work hard, learn a lot, and have some fun. This means spending lots of time working on engaging challenges, collaborating with others, and enjoying the process. It also requires looking at failures as part of the process of learning and ultimate success.

The students in our class also spend a lot of time learning how to work with others in a global world.

We focus on creating a great learning atmosphere where learners collaborate and work with others in order to maximize learning. As part of this process, we focus on the following skills: being positive, being a good listener, being respectful, being a motivator, being safe, and being a true collaborator.

My Project

Young elementary students are growing and learning every day. As part of teaching science, students learn about cycles. We learn about the rock cycle, the water cycle, and even about life cycles. This incubator will help us learn about the life cycles of chickens and ducks.

Students can learn from reading books, but actually learning by watching real life change and develop creates a life experience that they will never forget.

We are a farming community and have people who will donate the eggs to the classroom. These same people will provide a safe place for the animals after they are born. Please help us bring this special learning experience into our classroom.
