This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning about what organisms need. Plants, insects, and animals need water, air, and the sun. The students are loving learning about their environment in our science unit. The students could use some hands-on learning by watching the caterpillars grow and by watching the butterfly life cycle. Planting seeds will also help the students see the plant life cycle in action.

Seeds and caterpillars will help solidify their learning as they view daily the growth and changes in their life cycle.
