Library Makeover

Help me give my students a classroom library space that's comfortable and relaxing to encourage them to read. As a new teacher many of the book bins that were left are busted and needs to be replaced.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a new teacher many of the things that were left behind in my classroom are broken or outdated. These materials will give my students an updated classroom library that is organized and inviting. It will give them access to some updated books in a colorful relaxing space.

The products that I have selected will replace the book bins that are broken creating an organized space for selecting books to read.

The beanbags chairs and rug will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. The headphones will allow audio reading options as a resources to support my students. This area will also serve as an independent reading center, the paper organizer will help keep the center materials organized.
