Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project will help our school's library broaden the type of arts and craft opportunities and activities available in our school's library. The pipe cleaners, felt sheets, and markers will help with this.
The goal of our library is to be an academic space that simultaneously champions social-emotional learning through our Createspace.
High school students deserve opportunities to be artistic and socialize in risk-free environments. The library is open for students to use during their free time, and while some students utilize the library for studying and reading as intended, it is essential that we also give them meaningful opportunities to connect with others and their friends while creating something they can keep or gift. Your support in realizing this goal would be appreciated!
