This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are passionate competitors, dedicated teammates, and creative problem-solvers. For the past three years, we’ve been building an eSports program from the ground up. From fundraising to organizing tournaments, they’ve worked hard to secure gaming PCs, consoles, and the equipment necessary to compete.

Last year, their determination paid off when our Rocket League team placed in the Top 8 in our district.

That success has motivated us to continue pushing toward the next level.

While we’ve made incredible progress, there’s one key upgrade missing from our lab: modern, ergonomic gaming chairs.

Right now, students are practicing and competing in wobbly or mismatched, older classroom chairs. Hours of practice and competition require proper support, not only for health and focus, but also to give our lab a professional, competitive edge. Some schools just have more.

With your support, our eSports athletes will finally have the modern touch needed to match higher-level programs. Gaming chairs will provide comfort during long practice sessions and tournaments, reduce fatigue so students can stay sharp, focused, and competitive and help transform our lab into a true eSports environment that reflects their hard work and dedication.

This project will upgrade our lab with professional seating, giving students the comfort and focus they need to perform at their best. Modern gaming chairs will level the playing field with top-tier programs, support player health during long practices, and show our team their hard work is valued.

By funding this project, you’ll be investing in equity, performance, and confidence, helping our students prove they belong on the big stage.

We’ve already reached the Top 8 in Rocket League with hand-me-down seating. With your help, our team can take the next step toward becoming champions.
