Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the 21st Century, work and school have largely gone digital and the only way to compete and be successful is to create a foundational knowledge of technology from the ability to use multiple platforms, and applications, to typing skills, and writing professional emails and memos.

Creativity and versatility through technology is also key, as students may be asked to create presentations, flyers, videos, public service annoncements (PSA's) and more; and this can only be done if students are able to learn these skills in school.

As a school with a 70% English Language Learner population, our school has also purchased Rosetta Stone for our students and families, so they can build on their English skills, as well as learn any other language they find interesting. Having computers in school, will enable students to use the program after-school or in the morning before classes begin.
