My Students

I teach first graders at a school in Utah. First graders are the best of the best. They are kind, including, and excited to be at school. They love school! They love learning! This is the age that they build the foundation for the school career.

They are active, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

They love hands-on activities that give them the power to explore and solve problems on their own. Now is the time to show them how their learning can be applied to other areas of their lives.

My Project

Students have not received the individualized/small group instruction that they need to succeed in reading. With the book shelf and book bins, I can provide each student with materials that will help them grow in reading.

Students need access to reading materials that are on their level.

Every student learns and progresses at different times. With the materials I am asking for, I will be able to meet their needs and help them fill in missing concepts that they missed due to COVID. By providing students with these reading and writing materials, I will help students continue to grow in literacy learning.
