The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in my students learning because they will be able to read books at their different levels. I have students who read at kindergarten level to students who read at fifth grade level, and they need some skill building materials and new books.
My students will be able to access grade level content with the variety of books I am requesting.
My goals for this project are for my students use the requested books to research a career of their choice and interview for this career to help support our opinion writing unit.
Students will have to write and explain why they should be hired for a job. I will also use the materials to support my varied levels of reading in small groups in my classroom. My goal is to be able to give students access to the necessary leveled books to provide them with grade level/content area instruction.
My students are special because they are the kindest people you will ever meet. They have a strong desire to learn and love sharing their ideas with others. They love reading and discovering new ideas.
