Level Up Our Library Makerspace: 3D Printing the Future

Help me give my students a Bambu Lab P2S 3D Printer plus filament spools in a variety of colors, giving students the tools to design, prototype, and print everything from engineering challenges to student-created inventions.

My Project

Our library media center is no longer just a place to read about innovation—it’s a place where students can design it, build it, and bring their ideas to life. My students are naturally curious creators. Whether they are designing prototypes in Tinkercad, building engineering solutions through STEM challenges, or creating meaningful literacy connections through hands-on projects, they are most engaged when learning becomes real. A Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer with multiple colorful filament spools will help us level up our makerspace and give students access to powerful, future-ready technology.

My students are inspired by opportunities to create, invent, and problem-solve, but having the right tools makes all the difference.

The Bambu Lab P2S will allow students to print faster, with incredible quality and efficiency, so more students can move from concept to creation. With a variety of filament colors, students can design everything from school spirit items and kindness projects to architectural models, assistive devices, robotics components, and cross-curricular creations that connect reading, science, art, and technology. This isn’t just about printing objects—it’s about giving students the opportunity to think critically, innovate boldly, and see themselves as designers and engineers.

These resources already have a meaningful home in our school. The Bambu Lab P2S will serve as the centerpiece of our library media center makerspace, supporting students across grade levels as they explore creativity, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem solving. Our library is a place where students don’t just consume technology—they create with it. By supporting this project, donors will help empower students to transform imagination into innovation while building the confidence and skills they need for the future. This project will truly help our students level up their learning—one print at a time.
