My Project

I want my virtual students to have access to everything their peers in the brick-and-mortar schools have through my send-home manipulative kits, but a couple of things are missing...letter tiles and notebooks. Using letter tiles with children offers a range of benefits in their language development. These tactile tools provide a hands-on learning experience, engaging children's senses as they manipulate the tiles to form words, practice spelling, and explore phonics. By building and rearranging words, children strengthen their understanding of letter-sound relationships, expand their vocabulary, and improve their sentence formation skills. Letter tiles make learning interactive and fun, allowing for individualized and collaborative activities that cater to different learning styles. With visual representations of language concepts, these tools enhance comprehension and retention, making them a valuable resource for educators in promoting language skills among children.

That's right! With this gift, you will also be helping them learn to write. I am going to send home one blank book for story writing, and notebooks to use as Science Journals. Maintaining a science journal offers numerous advantages to students in their scientific endeavors. With these notebooks, students can record observations and experiments, fostering critical thinking and reflection. By writing down their thoughts and findings, students can enhance their communication skills and track their progress over time. Engaging in journaling nurtures creativity, analytical thinking, and a sense of curiosity, encouraging students to take ownership of their scientific inquiries. A science journal serves as a valuable tool for students to reference past experiments, track development, and deepen their understanding of the scientific process. I can't wait to see what my learners can do!
